Pole Film Magnet is a micro - encapsulated film which enables the user to view a static magnetic field such as commonly emitted by permanent magnets or dc electromagnets. Simply placing the film directly on the surface of the magnetic material in question can reveal a magnetic field of any shape or pattern.

The highly flexible film easily conforms to magnetic surfaces with any degree of convexity or concavity. 

It is used across the globe for quality control, product demonstration, reverse engineering, authentication and educational purposes.

Pocket electronic magnetic pole tester in the front - row position in the contestant's lineup. Unlike its mechanical competitors, the device brings the key advantages to the race; it is easy to operate, rugged and practical and shows the magnetic pole with zero delay. The result is available as soon as the push button is pressed - a green LED marks the south pole, a red one indicates north. And it is also readable in the dark and where access is difficult.

Pole tester is shaped like a pen and performs the measurement with a probe in its tip. The sensor position is indicated by a black mark that helps to determine a magnet's neutral zone with precision. The LED changeover from green to red light indicates the south-to-north pole transition. 

A magnetic reversal of the probe - no uncommon occurrence with mechanical instruments in pulsating fields - is impossible with this electronic magnetic pole tester, no matter how powerful the magnetic field may be.

The unit's practical value in everyday use devices straight from its design principle; there are no moving parts, no sensitive rotating magnet needs to operate in a low friction bearing. As a result, there is absolutely no delay in indication. Even with closely  spaced pole centers and small magnets, the user will always receive an accurate result at once.

Will magnetize Alnico 5 up to 2" x 3" long and ceramic 5 upto 2" x 2-1/2" long. 

These are typically used to magnetize alnico. Connects to standard 120 VAC outlet. Place magnet or assembly between poles and depress switch for one second.​ Place magnet or assembly between poles and depress switch for one second. Repeating the cycle does not increase magnetization.

The following magnetizing forces are recommended - 

Alnico 1,2,3 - 4000 Amp / turns / inch

Alnico 5,6 - 6000 Amp / turns / inch

Alnico 8,9 - 10,000 Amp / turns / inch

Ceramic 20,000 Amp / turns / inch

SmCo and NdFeb require a capacitor discharge unit.
